Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck where the shirt collar would sit. Place a finger between the tape and your neck for the easement required for comfort.

Place the begining of the measuring tape at the highest point of your shoulder/base of your neck and run through your torso. Stop measuring where you want the shirt to end.

Find the points whare your shoulders end and your arms begin. Place the mesuring tape at one shoulder point and run it across to the other shoulder point.

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest - just under your arm pits and across your shoulder blades. The fape should be level all the way around.

Wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your torso - usually above your belly button and below your ribcage Make sure the tape is level all the way around.

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips. Make sure the tape is level all the way around.

Place the begining of the measuring tape at the end of your shoulder and where your arm starts. Run the tape down the outside of your arm past your elbow. Stop measuring where you want the cuff of the shirt to sit.

Wrap the measuring tape around your arm, ap- proximately 3 inches below the armpit.

To measure the collar, place the collar flat and measure from the outer edge of the buttonhole to the centre of the collar button.

Measure from the start of the front of the shirt near the collar. This is the highest point of the front of the shirt. Run the measuring tape all the way down to the bottom of the shirt.

Measure across the yoke, from one sleeve seam to the other.

Measure straight across the chest from one armpit to the other without stretching the shirt.

Measure the shirt across the width at the narrow- est point.

Measure the shirt across at the bottom.

Measure from the yoke sleeve seam along the upper fold of the sleeve to the edge of the cuff.

Measure straight across the sleeve, approximate- ly 3 inches down from the armpit.

Measure the fell length of your pants down the side, starting from the very top. Measure down to the top of your foot, and where you would like your pants to end. You can also measure an existing pair of pants. Pants will be made to this exact measurement.

This measurement is different to the waist measurement you take for a shirt or jacket (around the stomach). The Pants Waist measurment is taken around your waist at the point where you normally wear your pants. Some people wear their pants high and others low. So first determine where on your waist your normally wear your pants, and then measure around the waist at that point. Note that you should not enter your pants size - this is different to the actual measurement. It is important that you take the actual measurement as show in the video.

Measure around the hip and buttocks at the widest point.

For this measurement, the tape measure needs to go through the legs. Start at the middle front of your pants waistline and run the tape measure under your legs round to the top of your buttocks. Finish the measurement at the center of your pants waistline.

Measure around the thigh

This measurement varies a lot on the style of pants you want. Measure across the bottom hem of one of the legs of the pants. This will determine how tight your pants will be around your ankle. Note this measurement cannot always be followed exactly, as it depends heavily on your calf measurement. As we do not use stretchy fabrics, and must follow the contours of the pants pattern, we may have to make slight adjustments.

Measure down the side seam of the pants to get the full length.

Measure across the waistband with the pants laying flat.

Measure across the hips, which is as the widest part of the pants when laying flat.

Measure the front section of the crotch. From the top edge of the pants down to the corner seem at the bottom of the crotch.

Measure across the thigh section, at the highest part of the leg.

Measure across the very bottom of the pants.
